Tour-LeAd!!
Hmmz...Am back from my tour lead from almost a week!! So cool!! Okay, let me start from day 1!! (wah, gonna have lotta of grandma stories?) Was at the airport on Sunday morning at 6am!! (Cant imagine i manage to wake up at 3 am...) Sis Jerb & Jean came to send me off!! So sweet of them!! Hmmz... Alright, help my 16 elderly passengers to do check in. And thought of shopping inside, but no chance, was busy and rush in on time to catch my flight. Had a smooth journey to Xiamen, got to do my transit at Xiamen, That was something challenging task for me as it was my first time in Xiamen airport, i got to look for the domestic airport, it was not easy man, but thank God for understanding passengers that help me to look out for the signboard and directions!! Wohoo!! haha... Now have to take another flight into Nanchang Aiport, an hour of flight again! Reach Nanchang at only 5pm!! Then took a 2 hours coach to the hotel. Wah... Cant imagine that on the first day, one of the elderly sprained her ankle. Had my dinner in the hotel!! Oh my gosh!! The food was super oily and salty!! It was really tough on the first day, having to know my guide and the passengers!! But thank God for the favour, the guide and driver did not outcast me! Share the same room with my guide! The room was really not what i thought, it was hidden somewhere in the corner la! Cant imagine it! Anyway, day 2 was very tiring as we had to 'climb' mountain. The place was very unique as it's my first time to China! Somewhere its still opening up as a tourist spot. Hmmz... The mountain that i 'climb' is called Lu Shan.
Sorry cant explain the story, too many story le!! haha.... Oh yA!! I met one of the Singapore Artist in China!! He was also there leading tour! And he is none other then Cheng Shu Cheng!! No idea if anyone knows him. But most of my passengers know him and wanted him to be the tour leader!!
Humpz!! Anyway, something that i remember most was on the day of return. I was feeling very uncomfortable when i was on the bus to the airport, BUT something cool happened, haha. My tour guide sang a song... Hmmz... Its their way of saying 'bye' to the tour group. Then one of my passenger also composed a song and sang it on the bus. It was so fun! I felt for a moment so honored to be the selected one to lead this tour! Reach Nanchang airport at 1245pm. Hmmz... Felt so stuffy at the Nanchang airport and i realise that i was a little feverish. (Not a good sign) Cant imagine that the flight somemore delay! Wah!! Wanna faint le! Anyway, when i reach Xiamen, on my out to the custom, i vomited!! (Not on the floor la...) And all my passengers were behind me!! Oh my!! So Pai sei!! I was already running a high fever when i arrived at Xiamen airport! Have to wait another 1 and a half hour before i can fly back to Singapore! Was really feeling really terrible. But thank God, on my way back to Singapore, the passengers took care of me more then i take care of them. hahaha... Reach Singapore at 1030pm!! Thank God, safely reach home!! haha... No time to further update about the tour, but i guess it's a nice experience! I truely thank God for favour because so far, in my company, my boss dont send attachment student to lead tour, and i'm the first to go! Wow!! And on top of that, the tour guide in China is said to always 'bully' the tour leader, esp those who are leading tour to China for the first time! But my tour guide is a very nice lady, she not only help me in all the admin work, she also help me to take care of the elderly. And not only that, she even blessed me some cute gifts! And i really thank God for all the favour that He showered upon me during that short 7 days! Praise The Lord!!
